The prospect of development of small nuclear power station in the regions that have no centralized power

A Scientific-Technical Conference "The prospect of small nuclear power plants development in the regions that have no centralized power" held 11-12 November 2010 in Moscow.

At the Conference discussed in detail the economics of small NPP, the need for remote Russian regions in a reliable local power supply to enhance living standards, industrial development and the strategic objectives.
The conference presented the technical details, analyzed the ready state and prospects for Russian projects small NPP.

Focused on the following projects:

• ABV-6, KLT-40C, RITM, VBER (OKBM);
• SVBR-100, SVBR-10 (IPPE-Gidropress, AKME-Engineering);
• Uniterm, GREM, NIKA-70 (NIKIET);
• VK-100, VK-50 (RIAR-Gidropress-Izhorskiye Zavody).
